THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Board comprises members with decades of experience in education and as, themselves, educators whose primary responsibilities are governance and oversight of the organization. Such responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Setting overall strategic direction and long-term goals; oversee the financial health of the organization; hiring and supervising company leadership; establish and review governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards; assess and manage risks facing the organization; monitor organizational performance against goals and objectives; represent and advocate on behalf of stakeholders (donors, the community, etc.); foster and approve partnerships, collaborations, mergers, or acquisitions that align with the organization’s strategic goals; and, foster a positive organizational culture.

ENGLASIA operates via a network online learning platforms that span three continents: Asia, Africa and Europe, providing access to high-quality English language immersion opportunities to students worldwide. Our global footprint allows us to cater to diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, ensuring that learners from different regions have equitable access to language learning opportunities. We serve a diverse student body comprising individuals from over multiple nationalities. Our Statement on Free Will & Freedom of Expression
Free will denotes the capacity of individuals to make choices and decisions autonomously, without coercion or external influence. It is the essence of personal agency and moral responsibility, enabling individuals to pursue their interests, beliefs, and aspirations freely. Freedom of expression, on the other hand, guarantees individuals the right to articulate their thoughts, opinions, and beliefs openly and without fear of censorship or reprisal. It fosters diversity of viewpoints, critical thinking, and societal progress. We believe that, through the English Language, individuals can formulate and express their thoughts completely. Together, free will, freedom of expression and the English Language empower individuals to engage in meaningful discourse, challenge prevailing norms, and contribute to the evolution of a more inclusive, non-oppressive and more tolerant society. They are indispensable rights that uphold human dignity, promote the flourishing of diverse cultures and ideas, and advancement of humankind. We uphold these truths as guiding principles.
